Medicaid

State-sponsored Medicaid benefits for eligible Floridians. Sunshine Health is a Florida Medicaid health plan that has been providing services in Florida since 2009.

Medicaid Managed Long Term Care for Medicaid enrollees 18 years and older. You also have to meet Nursing Facility level of care. Sunshine Health has the expertise to work with Medicaid and Long Term Care members to improve their health status and quality of life. This is done through the provision of quality services to meet the care needs of members.

Child Welfare

Sunshine Health offers a statewide, specialized and comprehensive health plan for children in or adopted from Florida’s child welfare system. Together with our community-based care partners, we are improving the health and well-being of these children through coordinated care, services and support.

Serious Mental Illness

Sunshine Health addresses serious mental illness by helping members take control of every part of their health. Our specialty plan offers coordinated behavioral, medical and pharmacy services, a team-based approach, including behavioral and medical providers, licensed health clinicians and pharmacists.

Children’s Medical Services Health Plan

Children’s Medical Services Health Plan is a plan for children and youth less than 21 with serious, chronic conditions.

Health Insurance Marketplace

The Health Insurance Marketplace is an online shopping mall of healthcare plans. Sunshine Health's plan is called Ambetter. Ambetter offers affordable health care coverage for individuals and families. Depending on your family size and income, you may even qualify for help to pay your monthly premium.

Medicare

People age 65 and older, under 65 with certain disabilities, and any age with End-State Renal Disease – ESRD (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a kidney transplant) may be eligible for coverage through Sunshine Health Advantage.
