Guidance for Providers Delivering Early Intervention Services (EIS)
Date: 11/10/25
Sunshine Health would like to clarify contracting and billing requirements for Early Intervention Services (EIS) providers.
Providers who deliver EIS do not need to be contracted with Sunshine Health to provide these services, as long as claims are billed using the appropriate Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), CPT code(s), and modifier(s).
If your organization provides EIS, Sunshine Health will still establish a contract if you choose to move forward with one. However, participation in the provider network is not required to deliver or be reimbursed for EIS.
When completing a provider application, please indicate that your organization provides Early Intervention Services (EIS) to help ensure proper processing and alignment with your service type.
If you have questions or need help, please reach out to your Provider Engagement Account Manager (PEAM). To find your assigned PEAM, use the Find Your Account Manager tool. You can also call Provider Services at 1-844-477-8313.
