Managing Behavioral Health Conditions
We have several educational resources on our website geared toward helping you manage your behavioral health. Learn more about Sunshine Health’s benefits and services for the following chronic conditions:
- Anxiety Disorders involve more than temporary worry or fear. Symptoms can interfere with daily activities, such as job performance, schoolwork and relationships.
- Depression is when a sad mood lasts for a long time and interferes with normal, everyday functioning.
- Bipolar Disorder is a mood disorder that causes extreme mood changes that go beyond normal ups and downs.
- Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a condition that affects the way the brain works and controls the body. It can make it hard for a person to pay attention or control their body, thoughts and feelings.
- Substance Use Disorder (SUD) is a treatable behavioral health disorder that leaves someone unable to control their use of alcohol and drugs.
