Sunshine Health to Administer ENT Service Authorizations for MMA, CW and SMI Members Starting February 1, 2025

Starting February 1, 2025, Sunshine Health will administer authorizations for Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) services for Managed Medical Assistance (MMA), Child Welfare (CW) and Serious Mental Illness (SMI) members. These services were previously provided by TurningPoint. TurningPoint will continue to provide ENT services for Ambetter Health and Children’s Medical Services (CMS) Health Plan members.

Providers not contracted with Sunshine Health wishing to provide ENT services can Join Our Network. Sunshine Health will contact you regarding participation after you provide the requested information.

What is the transition of care process?

TurningPoint authorization approvals issued before February 1, 2025, are effective until the authorization end date. Starting February 1, 2025, please submit prior authorization requests to Sunshine Health via the Secure Provider Portal.
