American Rescue Plan Act One-Time Non-Waiver HCBS Provider Retention Payment

Sunshine Health is pleased to work with the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) to disburse additional funds from the ARPA HCBS Enhanced Funding Opportunity to providers.  AHCA is initiating a one-time retention payment for non-HCBS waiver providers. The one-time payments were calculated based on a 19% rate increase applied to non-waiver HCBS claims for the allowable services listed below that were provided from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022.

  • Assistive Care Services (PT 14)
  • Community Behavioral Health (PT 05)
  • Durable Medicaid Equipment (A, E, K, B and T codes only) [PT 90]
  • Home Health Visit Services (PT 65)
  • Personal Care Services (PT 65)
  • Private Duty Nursing Services (PT 65)

The payments will be made by Sunshine Health’s accounts payable through Centene management. We require a W-9 that is no older than 18 months since it was signed. If the provider wishes to use Automated Clearing House (ACH), we require an official bank letter (no older than 16 months) or a voided check along with the Provider Payment Authorization Form (PDF).
