HHS CMS Provider Briefing Today on Response to Cyberattack on Change Healthcare

Date: 03/19/24

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will hold an informational session for providers to share how it is responding to the cyberattack on Change Healthcare today, March 19, 2024, at 4 p.m. Eastern. Deputy Secretary Andrea Palm, along with leadership from the Immediate Office of the Secretary and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), will lead the session. United Health Group will also attend and discuss their funding program.

Register for the briefing.

We expect that CMS will provide an overview of how to apply for Medicare advance and accelerated payments, and leaders from UnitedHealth Group will demonstrate how to apply for funding the company has made available to providers. No additional details on the agenda are currently available, but updates will be provided if new information is released.
