Sunshine Health has retired the Allwell brand

The Allwell Medicare brand was retired by Sunshine Health at the end of 2022 to streamline our Medicare portfolio and remove duplicate products from the market. It also simplifies the claims process and other operations for our providers.

The decision affected up to 800 members who were notified to choose a new Medicare plan for 2023. Those who did not choose a new plan are still covered by Original Medicare and Florida Agency for Health Care Administration benefits, including prescription drug coverage.

Our Wellcare brand offers quality care and coverage through its Medicare advantage plans. Under Sunshine Health’s Continuity of Care policy, members have 90 days to receive care from a non-participating provider.
