CMS Health Plan Changes - Coming October 1, 2026

CMS Health Plan will be operated by Molina Healthcare starting October 1, 2026. Sunshine Health is committed to making this transition as seamless as possible for you and your child.

What it means for you and your child 

  • Your child will stay enrolled in CMS Plan.
  • Your child will still have a care manager. 
  • There will be a continuity of care period to ensure your child does not experience any break in care. 
  • During the continuity of care period: 
    • Health care providers should not cancel appointments with current patients
    • Providers will be paid by the enrollee’s new managed care plan
    • Providers will be paid promptly by the enrollee’s new managed care plan
    • Prescriptions will be honored by the enrollee’s new managed care plan
    • Existing prior authorizations will be honored by the enrollee’s new managed care plan

My Health Pays

If your child participates in the My Health Pays® rewards program, please note these important changes:

  • The My Health Pays® program will end on September 30, 2026.
  • Rewards for eligible activities completed on or before September 30, 2026 will continue to be processed and added to your child’s card through November 15, 2026.
  • The last day to use your child’s My Health Pays® Visa® Prepaid card* is December 30, 2026. After this day, your child’s card will be closed and any remaining funds will no longer be available.

To check your child’s card balance, call the number on the back of their My Health Pays® card.

*This card is issued by The Bancorp Bank, N.A. pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. Card cannot be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted. See Cardholder Agreement for complete usage restrictions.
