What's new
As of October 1, 2021, Fluphenazine Decanoate, Haloperidol Decanoate, Abilify Maintena, Aristada, Aristada Intio, Invega Sustenna, Invega Trinza, Invega Hafyera, Risperdal Consta, Perseris and Zyprexa Relprevv are all preferred long-acting injectable antipsychotics and do not require a prior authorization for members 18 years of age or older.

Action needed
A prior authorization is required for all injectable antipsychotics for members < 18 years of age. Additional information on the use of psychotherapeutic medications in children can be accessed on the Florida Center for Behavioral Health Improvements and Solutions website.
