Nursing Home LTC Custodial Authorization Renewal Update

As part of our Nursing Home authorization process, we will be proactively renewing custodial authorizations created in October 2025. Sunshine Health LTC will complete a one-time renewal of authorizations, on your behalf, to help reduce the high volume of authorizations expected in October 2026. 

No action is required from you at this time. You will receive a faxed listing of your renewed custodial authorizations reflecting member and authorization details with the updated renewal dates. 

Important: Following this one-time courtesy renewal, you will be responsible for requesting ongoing renewals before the end date of each authorization.
