Thank you for all of your efforts to serve members in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian and Hurricane Nicole. Effective December 1, 2022, Sunshine Health is returning to normal business operations for authorizations. Please submit prior authorizations using our pre-storm process.

This update is effective for all products:

  • Medicaid
  • Child Welfare Specialty Plan (CWSP)
  • Serious Mental Illness (SMI)
  • Children’s Medical Services (CMS) Health Plan
  • Long Term Care (LTC)
  • Medicare (Wellcare by Allwell and Wellcare)
  • Marketplace (Ambetter)
